Every so often, someone on your team earns recognition on a stage far larger than your own—and the only right response is to stop, celebrate, and say it out loud.

Today, that person is Acacia de Verteuil.

Acacia de Verteuil is a Trinidad and Tobago business executive, the incoming Director of Communications and Public Relations on the AFETT board for 2026–2028, and—for fifteen years and counting—the Country Lead Events Coordinator for Limin' Professionals Luxury Concierge. On behalf of our entire team, congratulations, Acacia. Every bit of this is earned.

Who Is Acacia de Verteuil?

Acacia de Verteuil is a multi-hyphenate business executive and strategist with more than a decade of leadership across administration, marketing, communications, stakeholder engagement, and organizational development. She is the Founder and Principal Consultant of The Maverick Practice Limited, a corporate consultancy specializing in product development, project management, marketing strategy, customer experience, and business transformation.

Her experience spans financial services, tourism, entertainment, construction, and corporate services—and across all of it, she has built a reputation for one thing above all: translating strategic vision into measurable results. New business lines launched. Organizational transformations led. Flagship events delivered. Revenue and performance targets exceeded. She lives by a simple credo—"Everything is figureoutable"—and in fifteen years of working alongside her, we've watched her prove it, again and again.

Acacia de Verteuil named AFETT Director of Communications & Public Relations 2026–2028, with her vision statement, on an AFETT-branded graphic.

Installed on the AFETT Board, 2026–2028

On June 30, 2026, Acacia was officially installed as Director of Communications and Public Relations on the newly elected board of the Association of Female Executives of Trinidad and Tobago (AFETT)—an organization whose mission is, fittingly, "Making Women Winners."

It is a role she is built for. In her own words: "My vision is to help design an experience where women feel safe and excited to learn, develop, and tangibly exceed their self-concept. I am committed to ensuring that AFETT is a conduit for continuous growth and self-actualisation." Communications and public relations are not a title for Acacia—they are a craft she has practiced at the highest level for years, and AFETT's members are fortunate to have her voice guiding theirs.

An Executive Track Record—and an Ethic to Match

What sets Acacia apart is not only the breadth of her résumé, but the way she works. She is rigorous without being rigid, high-performing without losing her warmth, and relentlessly solutions-oriented—she prefers, as she puts it, "a jovial outlook to goal achievement." She is also a certified Caribbean Development Educator (CaribDE) and a committed advocate for Caribbean development and women's leadership.

That combination—executive discipline and human energy—is exactly the standard we hold ourselves to at Limin' Professionals. It's no accident that she has been part of our story for so long.

Fifteen Years With Limin' Professionals

For fifteen years, Acacia has served as our Country Lead Events Coordinator on the ground in Trinidad—the person who makes sure that everything our guests experience during Carnival runs flawlessly, from the smallest logistical detail to the biggest signature moments. Her communications expertise, her stakeholder relationships, and her sheer operational command are woven into every trip we deliver. That ground operation is what sits behind our Trinidad Carnival experiences.

When our clients tell us their experience felt effortless, a great deal of that is Acacia—working behind the scenes so that they never have to. Her excellence is a standard, not an exception, and it has shaped who we are. If you're planning your first Carnival, our guide to Trinidad Carnival 2027 walks through what the season actually involves.

A Personal Note From Our Founder

Acacia—

Fifteen years ago, we started building something, and you have been part of its backbone ever since. Watching you step onto the AFETT board is one of the proudest moments I've had as a founder—not because it's a surprise, but because it is exactly what your work has always deserved.

Thank you for the standard you set, the excellence you bring, and the person you are. Congratulations on this appointment. Trinidad and Tobago is better for your leadership, and so are we.

With gratitude and admiration,

Ron
