What Is Grenada Spicemas?

Spicemas is Grenada's crown cultural jewel—a roughly ten-day August celebration of emancipation, identity, and Caribbean heritage. It is raw, electric, and deeply rooted.

Expect J'Ouvert before sunrise, where Jab Jab masqueraders cover themselves in oil, paint, and mud in a powerful ancestral tradition of release and defiance. Expect steelpan and calypso competitions, soca monarch battles, beauty pageants, and the spectacular Parade of the Bands. Grenada is a smaller island than Trinidad, which makes Spicemas more intimate and community-centered—an experience entirely its own.

Our Spicemas 2027 Package Dates

Spicemas Monday and Tuesday 2027 fall on August 9 and 10. Our all-inclusive packages run Wednesday, August 4 through Wednesday, August 11, 2027, with options to arrive earlier or depart later based on your preferences. Every package is custom-curated around the main Carnival days.

Pricing and Flexible Payment Plans

Packages are priced from as low as US$6,595 for a minimum five-night stay, with options depending on your level of activity and your PTO. A minimum deposit secures your spot—from US$1,000 per person for double occupancy and US$1,500 per person for single occupancy—and the balance spreads across flexible monthly payments through June 2027. You should never have to make one large payment to experience something this special.
